One of the most successful singing groups in modern time, with over 30 million albums sold, is finally coming back to Sweden for two concerts in Stockholm and Malmö. On the 27th of April 2016, they will play at Malmö Arena!
Dixie Chicks, consisting of the two sisters Martie Erwin Maguire and Emily Erwin Robinson and the singer Natalie Maines, was formed in Dallas, Texas back in 1989. The first few years the group played at smaller country- and bluegrass clubs and in 1998, after some changes in the band, they got their first big breakthrough with their hit songs "There's Your Trouble" and "Wide Open Spaces".
Natalie Maines has a voice filled with power and energy. Backed up by the two sisters Marie and Emily, it becomes a combination out of the ordinary and proves that Dixie Chicks is one of the most successful groups in modern music.
The first time the group performed in Sweden was in 2003, with their sold-out concert at Annexet. In march 2014, they came back to Sweden, performing at Stockholm Waterfront. This concert was also sold-out and got top-reviews from all the larger newspapers in Sweden.
In 2016 they are finally back in Sweden, and on the 27th of April, you will be able to watch their show at Malmö Arena.
The Concert starts at 7:30 pm.
Doors open at 6:00 pm.
