After an explosive first edition of DreamHack Masters Malmö held in April 2016, DreamHack Masters will return in 2017, with the playoffs taking place in Malmö Arena on September 2nd and 3rd.
During September 2nd and 3rd the top 16 teams in the world will compete for 250 000 dollar and the title of DreamHack Masters Malmö 2017 champions. Repeating last years success, fans from all over the world will be able to enjoy a world class esport experience.
More than 10 000 visitors traveled to Malmö Arena last year to witness the highest level of competition and many of them left with memories of a lifetime.
12 teams are directly invited meanwhile four teams will have to qualify through globally hosted qualifiers. All 16 teams will compete in a group stage closed to the public but broadcasted to millions of fans online during August 30th and September 1st. The top eight teams from group play will reach the playoffs that takes place in Malmö Arena September 2nd and 3rd and continue to compete for the DreamHack Masters Malmö title.

Never before has the competition been this fierce as during 2017 where every tournament is impossible to predict. All these teams fight to be the best in the world and DreamHack Masters Malmö is an important step in making that a reality. It remains to be seen if last years champions Ninjas in Pyjamas will once again claim first place or a new team will hear the crowd chant their names as they raise the trophy.

After the Grand Final is finished and the winners of DreamHack Masters Malmö has been crowned we will once again open the doors to the biggest Esports party in Sweden! The beautiful venue Moriska Paviljongen in central Malmö will be turned into a CS world, with bars, dancefloors, DJ’s and everything else you need for a good time! Tickets available at Ticketmaster

How to get here
It is very easy to get to Malmö Arena by public transportation. Hyllie Station and the bus stops are only about 2 minutes away from our main entrances. For more information about how to find your way here, click here
Smoking is only allowed outdoors. A stamp must be obtained at one of the entrances before you leave the arena. Umbrellas and laser pointers (or other objects that can cause injury to others), your own food and drink, or professional audio or video equipment, may not be brought into the arena.
