FAQ: Visit Malmö Arena

How do I get to Malmö Arena?

You will find practical information and routes under Getting here, complete with maps.
There are taxi ranks right alongside Malmö Arena.

When do the doors open?

The restaurants open no later than 2 hours prior to the start of a performance/event. For those who do not have a table reservation in any of our restaurants, the foyer opens approximately 1 hour prior to the start of a performance/event. Entry to the seating area is by agreement with the organiser, but no later than 40 minutes prior to the scheduled starting time of the performance/event.

Is camera and recording equipment allowed?

Sophisticated camera equipment and audio/visual recording equipment is not allowed at any music performances (see reverse of ticket). At some concerts, no photography at all is allowed and searches may be carried out at the main entrance.

Is there an ATM at Malmö Arena?

There is an ATM at the main entrance to Malmö Arena. You are advised to complete your transaction before entering.

Where can I enquire about lost items?

Enquiries concerning lost items may be made Monday-Friday on phone.: +46 (0)40-642 04 00.

Is it permitted to smoke in the Arena?

Smoking is not permitted in Malmö Arena. For selected performances, a special smoking area will be opened. Further information regarding the specific performance you are attending is available from the duty attendant.

Are there disability spaces?

For sporting events and selected concerts/performances, there will be a total of 53 reserved places for spectators in wheelchairs and the same number of places for those accompanying them. For concerts and other events where the stage is relocated, the number of wheelchair places is subject to change. For wheelchair reservations, please call +46 (0)77-578 00 00.

Does Malmö Arena have baby cushions available for hire?

No, but you are welcome to take your own baby cushions into Malmö Arena.

How do we make Study Visits / Guided Tours?

For the time being it is not possible to organise study visits or guided tours.



FAQ: Food & Drink

Are the restaurants always open?

Our restaurants are only open in connection with performances/events and from 2 hours prior to the start of the performance/event.
Percy’s restaurant is open daily between 11.30 a.m. and 1.30 p.m. except for summer months.

When should restaurant table reservations be made?

Table reservations must be made no later than 3 days in advance of concerts/performances and 2 days in advance of ice hockey matches.

How do I make a table reservation?

Table reservations may be made by e-mail to restaurang@malmoarena.com or by phone on +46 (0)40-642 04 44.
Our telephone hours are: Monday-Friday 9 a.m.-4 p.m., Saturday-Sunday (only when performances/events are taking place) from 11 a.m. until 2 hours prior to the start of the performance/event.

If I make a table reservation by e-mail, how do I know that you have received it?

We always send a confirmation by e-mail showing the restaurant, date and time of your reservation.

How do I pay for my restaurant visit?

Your bill is presented on finishing your meal and may be settled by cash or credit card.

Do I receive a booking number when I make a table reservation?

No, your name serves as your reference

Do you have special children’s menus?

Yes, there is always an alternative menu for children.
