FAQ: Food & Beverage

Is it allowed to bring food and beverage from outside into the arena?

It is not allowed to bring food or beverages into the arena. We here summarize the reasons for this:

  1. In our own control program regarding food and beverage we have a responsibility to secure that food and beverages that are being consumed in Malmö Arena is being handled in a hygienic and good way.
  2. At many events the artist’s or the production’s security organization doesn’t allow food and beverage being brought in. The reason for this is that thru a security perspective it is impossible to secure that for example alcohol or flammable liquids not are being brought in.
  3. Our liquor license is based on that we have control of age, serving areas and sobriety.

If there is a need for special diet our ambition is to always be accommodating and find solutions as long as it’s possible. Email us at security@malmoarena.com and we will try to coordinate it.

Can I buy a second hand ticket?
As a preventive measure, the police want to draw attention to the fact that there may be opportunities for fraudsters to take advantage of the Eurovision party in Malmö. This is done by passing on fake tickets or by copying a genuine ticket and selling it to several people, which means that only the first person at the ticket control will be admitted to the event. It is also common for the fraudsters to ask for advance payment and that you as the buyer never receive the ticket.
Therefore, keep in mind that the only way to guarantee that you are paying for a genuine ticket is to buy from authorized platforms.

If you still buy tickets on the secondary market, keep this in mind:
• Be careful about giving out your card number, especially to companies and people you have not done business with before or know
• Be wary of offers that are too good to be true - it could be a fake ticket
• Be vigilant if the counterparty pressures you to complete the deal
• Avoid paying in advance if you buy from private individuals
• If possible, you should meet the seller and get the ticket in person
• The fact that the seller gives out his social security number or account number does not protect you from being cheated
• Check that the money goes to the person you were in contact with when you pay with Swish
Did you purchase your ticket/s second hand?
Malmö Arena does not guarantee the authenticity of tickets purchased second hand. Second-hand sites usually sell tickets at higher prices and without guarantee that they are genuine. We do not exchange or replace tickets that have been purchased secondhand.

To be completely safe, always buy tickets at www.ticketmaster.se
How can I preapare before entering?

In order for you and your party to enter the arena quick and easy, we urge you to log in to your Ticketmaster account in good time to download your tickets to your mobile phone - preferably 24 hours before the event starts. When you download the tickets to your phone, they will be ready in offline mode - which means you don't have to rely on an internet connection (which often gets overloaded at the entrance). Also increase the brightness on your moboile.
You can also bring the printed ticket.
