The 2026 pre season will be something out of the ordinary! The inaugural Malmö Arena Cup will be combined with several games in the surrounding area as Malmö Redhawks begin an intense SHL buildup. Here is the full schedule.

This year marks the premiere edition of Malmö Arena Cup – a brand-new pre season tournament taking place on September 4–5. Malmö Redhawks, Linköping HC, Örebro HK, and HV71 will enter Malmö Arena to compete for the prestigious first-ever title.

The semifinals will be played on Friday the 4th of September, where Redhawks will face Linköping with puck drop at 6:00 PM. On Saturday the 5th of September, both the bronze game and the final await at 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM, where the very first title in the tournament’s history will be awarded.

Ticket information will be announced soon, but for season ticket holders, the entire tournament is of course included.

Confirmed game times:

HV71 vs Örebro – 3:00 PM
Malmö vs Linköping – 6:00 PM

Bronze Game – 1:00 PM
Final – 4:00 PM

  • How to get here

It is very easy to get to Malmö Arena by public transportation. Hyllie Station and the bus stops are only about 2 minutes away from our main entrances. For more information about how to find your way here, click here

  • Security

Arrive in good time to minimize queues and help us make entry as smooth as possible. You are not allowed to bring any professional audio or video equipment into the arena. You are also not allowed to bring food or drink. It is not permitted to bring in scooters or bikes or the electrical batteries therefor. Smoking is only allowed outdoors. A stamp must be obtained at one of the entrances before you leave the arena if you wish to enter again.

  • Bags 

Bag with a maximum size of 40x40x20 cm is allowed.

  • Wardrobe

Staffed cloak room service is not available during the Redhawks games.

  • Tickets

Everyone attending the event must present a valid ticket. ATTENTION! Always buy your tickets from authorized ticket resellers. Second-hand sites usually sell tickets at higher prices and without guarantee that they are genuine. We do not exchange or replace tickets that have been purchased secondhand. Any comments on your places/sight must always be made directly on site, after the event is completed, the places are considered approved by you as a visitor.

  • Cashless arena

Malmö Arena is a cashless arena and only accepts card payments.
